Salley Session: Storytelling for Leaders
“The most powerful person in the world is the storyteller” – Steve Jobs, Founder of Apple
Storytelling is an essential skill, both in business and in life. At work, it can help motivate teams, attract investors and close sales. We tell stories every day, but we rarely spend time thinking about how to tell them better.
This January, our first Salley Session of 2024 will focus on storytelling. We’ll learn from an industry leader who’s also a great storyteller, refine our own stories through interactive exercises, and practice presenting them to an intimate, vetted group of Salley members. We’ll also have time to meet and mingle over drinks.
This session will be led by Ellen Brandenberger – Director of Product Innovation at Stack Overflow. Ellen leads Generative AI at Stack. She has more than 10 years of leadership experience coming from successful startups and public companies. Prior to this, Ellen led product at Chegg, Thinkful, Pearson, Gradeable, among others. She also holds a Master’s from Harvard.
Salley Sessions are only available to active Salley members. If you are not a member, please be sure to apply here as soon as possible.
